Founded in April of 2011, our mission is to offer a variety of products tailored to our local area at competitive prices, exceptional customer service, and convenient store-front parking (even if towing a boat). 

ABOUT OUR OWNER

Owner Aaron Dowell moved into the area in 1982 and has been fishing these waters ever since. Our owner and staff members are not professional retailers; they are local and experienced anglers. Not only is Aaron an experienced angler, he also keeps up-to-date with the local network of recreational anglers and fishing guides to offer the most current products.

A cat named Gordo used to be a stray cat that lived underneath an abandoned trailer in a small patch of woods behind Bluffton Marine. He would watch from afar, never getting too close. After two years, he finally decided to adopt Aaron and Jan, the owners. He now hangs out in the shop each day, greeting customers and hoping for that enjoyable scratch on the head.
